This device has two banks of four differential output pairs and one oscillator output. Application Field

The SI5338C-B02035-GMR provides frequency conversion applications and other RF/timing systems a programmable, ultra-wideband clock IC. It is ideal for application-specific radio applications such as WiMAX, LTE and various military system designs. Working Principle

The SI5338C-B02035-GMR uses a dual bank architecture with four differential ouput pairs to provide up to 8 different clocks. This device supports a wide frequency tuning range of 0.5 to 560 MHz and 4.20 GHz, and low power consumption. The low power consumption is enabled by integrated fractional-N frequency synthesis which allows the device to synthesize intermediate frequencies that could not be otherwise synthesized by an integer-N PLL. The SI5338C-B02035-GMR also has an integrated jitter attenuator, which helps to ensure low jitter performance for ultimately more reliable data transmission with higher accuracy data synchronization. This is especially important for application-specific radio systems such as WiMAX and LTE which require precise data transmissions.
