The SI5338M-B06605-GM is a high-performance clock generator and jitter attenuator designed to provide clock synchronization and distribution in high-speed network applications. It provides a very low-jitter clock source and flexibility to choose from a variety of output options to create a system-optimized solution. The SI5338M-B06605-GM is a unique timing solution with a variety of capabilities that make it well suited for an array of applications.

The SI5338M-B06605-GM is an application specific clock/timing solution designed to meet the timing requirements of communication, enterprise and consumer applications. This device features five simultaneous differential outputs and two low-skew output fanout gates, offering a wide range of frequency options from 10MHz to 400MHz, and allowing for the generation of multiple frequencies using only one device. The device\'s Adaptive Loop Frequency feature, which is programmable over an I 2 C interface, allows it to automatically adjust the output frequency to match the proper timing of the system. With this feature, the SI5338M-B06605-GM can provide a system optimized clock with no operator intervention.

The SI5338M-B06605-GM also features an integrated phase-locked loop (PLL) and low-jitter power-down mode, allowing it to effectively and efficiently provide the frequency accuracy and stability required in Fibre Channel and Video applications. The device\'s integrated VCO provides clean single ended and differential clocks with minimal jitter levels and low-frequency characteristics. Additionally, the SI5338M-B06605-GM provides freedom from external components and a smaller total solution size for Fibre Channel applications.
