The SI5341A-D06298-GMR is a clock and frequency synthesizer solution that can deliver multiple, independently-programmable and jitter-attenuated clocks, function synth and spread spectrum clock outputs. Each output can be programmed and adjusted with independent black box settings. The device does not need configuration software, because all the features and functions can be programmed using a standard two-wire I2C interface. The device provides an output jitter of only 0.75 ps RMS and it can support a wide range of work frequencies from 1 MHz to 650 MHz on a high phase-noise clock output.The SI5341A-D06298-GMR is designed for high-performance networking, storage and computing applications. It enables system designers to use adjustable frequency settings that meet the specific requirements of their products, without requiring the expensive and time-consuming software tools required by other solutions. With the help of its rich set of features, it helps to increase system system performance and reduce overall system cost.The clock generator chip includes a multitude of features including independent phase noise reduction, multiple output dividers, digital level shifting and spread spectrum capability. The chip also includes a four-stage filter and buffer, a synthesizer, and a programmable PLL. This combination of features enables the user to create multiple digital clock outputs with very low phase noise.The clock generator chip is also suitable for digital test and measurement equipment, as well as telecom and telecom-like applications. Using the device, it is possible to generate single and multiple output clock from few MHz to hundreds of MHz. It also enables the generation of multiple low-jitter clocks with up to 215 resolution.The working principle of the SI5341A-D06298-GMR is based on the operation of its on-chip four-stage filter and buffer, PLL and synthesizer. The four-stage filter and buffer help to reduce jitter while the PLL helps the device to be easily adjustable. The synthesizer is the component which makes the device able to generate a wide range of clock frequencies.The device is designed to provide a wide working frequency range from 100 KHz to 650 MHz and operating from 1.8 V DC to 3.3 V DC power supply. It has a high phase resolution up to 215 and an output jitter of 0.75 ps RMS.
