The board is powered from the USB interface and comes with GUI based on Windows software for easy system tuning.

Working Principle of SI5345-D-EVB

The SI5345-D-EVB is a versatile low cost board with customizable digital signal distribution options for automotive, networking, and audio/video solutions. The board receives an input frequency in the range of 40MHz to 470 MHz and divides it into low jitter, user adjustable clocks with the wide variety of options. It supports 1-4 lane PCIe Gen3 clock recovery, 2-8 input and output differential pairs, and has an on-board spread spectrum clock generator (SSCG) for embedded system EMI reduction.

The board also features an on-board temperature sensor for accurate thermal tracking and system optimization. The optional frequency dependent gain setting and temperature compensation algorithms enable users to optimize their design for their system environment. The SI5345-D-EVB can be adapted for a variety of applications by simply adding optional discrete components and interconnecting cables.
