The SI5350A-B07897-GM is a high-performance, low-jitter Clock Generator, designed to meet stringent jitter performance requirements in radio broadcast and professional audio applications, and which is capable of operating with a wide selection of operating frequencies while maintaining superior jitter performance.The device features an advanced, low-jitter, voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), and a low-power, fractional-N technology, which enables improved jitter performance over various operating conditions.The VCO is capable of operating over a wide frequency range and is intended for applications such as SONET, SDH networks and CATV. Additionally, the device is highly configurable and can be set up in various clock and data configurations. The SI5350A-B07897-GM supports a wide selection of input clocks, from 10MHz to 80MHz, enabling customers to set up various clock and data configurations. In addition, the device offers a spread spectrum output clock (SSC) for applications that require reduced EMI/RFI noise emission. The SSC feature allows users to reduce the peak clock frequency by up to 20% and still maintain the overall frequency accuracy. The SI5350A-B07897-GM implements a fractional-N technology that enables the output clock frequency to be fractionally increased or decreased based on the desired level of jitter. Additionally, the device is capable of sampling up to five different clock and data signals in order to form a multiple-output clock.
