The on-board VCXO oscillator allows for frequency translation and enables the SI5350C-B06408-GT to easily generate crystal frequencies from 100 kHz up to 3.2GHz. The device also features a 3.2GHz frequency agility based on its built-in on-board crystal and wide input frequency range covering 27 MHz to 700 MHz range. For further flexibility,multiple SI5350C-B06408-GTs can be cascaded up to 7 layers.

The SI5350C-B06408-GT also allows the user to fine-tune the device to the needs of the application by using the SI5350C-B06408-GT configuration wizard or alternatively by programing the parameters via specialized programming tool. The device can be programmed by pin control or an I2C-compatible Serial Interface.
