The SI5369C-C-GQR is a versatile, programmable Clock Generator and Fanout Buffer capable of generating complex, global clock networks with multiple clocks of different frequencies and duty cycles. The IC includes an advanced Phase Locked Loop (PLL) that goes beyond traditional PLL clock synthesis with the ability to generate various multi-phase clocks. A high-speed on-chip sigma-delta modulator is integrated into the PLL, making it capable of precisely generating low-jitter, low-spur clocks at high frequencies.
The SI5369C-C-GQR provides up to 10 highly accurate and low-jitter output clocks. Its multiple outputs support wide variety of clock frequencies, synthesizing from one main clock source, with options for different duty cycles and phase alignments. The device has a wide input-clock range and an integrated jitter attenuator to ensure clean clocks, making it ideal for a variety of applications, such as high-speed networking, mobile, and wireless communication systems.
The SI5369C-C-GQR\'s PLL is capable of generating most advanced clock networks with multiple phases and complex ratios. While the PLL clock is programmable over the 1-200MHz range and acts as the main output source clock, the integrated sigma-delta output clock modulation allows users to create various multi-phase output clocks from that single source. The multi-phase output capabilities are further enhanced with the ability to characterize each phase in terms of delay, duty cycle, phase angle, and amplitude.
The SI5369C-C-GQR provides further flexibility with an on-board programmable logic gate, allowing users to customize the clock networks to additional complex clock network configurations. The integrated logic gates can also be used as a level-shifter or to spread the clocks in multiple pads or divisions using a single source. The device can automatically detect the incoming clock source frequency, making it plug-and-play and easy to adapt to changing needs.
