SI8252-IM is a cost-effective, low-Iq, high-performance 8-pin power management integrated circuit (PMIC) with integrated low dropout (LDO) controllers and gated high-side switches. It is ideal for applications that require complete power management integration (PMIC) in a low-cost and integrated form factor, while simultaneously supporting programmable high and low side switch control. TheDevice is designed, optimized, and validated for multiple input levels ranging from 2.3V to 5.5V. The two low dropout (LDO) controllers manage the voltage rails of a negative and positive voltage supply (typically -1.8 to -5.5V and 0.4 to 5.5V, respectively). The input supply and output voltage range of each LDO is over a wide voltage range and is adjustable with a single external resistor or capacitor. The gated high-side switch is used to control the supply current of an unregulated power supply.

The LDO controllers feature adaptive voltage positioning and voltage tracking features. Adaptive voltage positioning adjusts the output voltage dynamically based on the current requirement of the load.
