Working Principle

The SI91871DMP-25-E3 is a high efficiency, low noise, linear regulator. It utilizes two N-channel enhancement-mode metal-oxide semiconductor (MOSFETs) to regulate the output voltage. The voltage regulator includes a voltage reference, an error amplifier, a driver and two MOSFETs. The reference voltage is set to 1.8V. The MOSFETs are operated in a push pull configuration to regulate the output voltage. The error amplifier Error Amp1 compares the reference voltage and the output voltage.
