The SIP-KITNXF002 features a core microcontroller and digital signal processor, and it includes an impressive range of integrated peripherals, SRAM and Flash memory, high speed host interface and numerous external connectors.

The NXP Cortex PSoC4 is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0 Core processor with a range of connected peripherals including analog, digital, time and power control features. The processor also integrates a 328KB flash memory, 16KB SRAM, a high speed memory interface, an integrated USB 2.0 controller, an Ethernet controller, a CAN controller, an LCD controller and several other low level components for system level development.

The SIP-KITNXF002 processor is based on the 32-bit ARM Cortex-A7 MPCore processor which is optimized for low-power operation and offers a highly efficient combination of 32-bit processing performance, memory, power management, and security. The processor is designed to support a wide range of applications, including real-time embedded systems, motor control, audio/video streaming, large-scale real-time data transfer, and wireless communication.

The NXP Cortex PSoC4 processor is the heart and soul of the SIP-KITNXF002, providing a comprehensive platform for embedded systems development. It integrates a high performance Cortex-M4 processor, an efficient NEON DSP engine, a Flash memory controller, an SRAM controller, an integrated Multi-channel Serial Controller, a Debug Interface, a Fast IO Bus, a power management logic, and several peripherals such as a CAN, Ethernet, I2C, and USB 2.0 controller.

The Cortex-M4 processor is a 32-bit RISC processor core designed for high-performance, low-power applications. The processor includes two instruction ports and four data ports, and is optimized for low-power operation with an efficient memory access architecture. In addition, the Cortex-M4 processor includes the ARM Thumb-2 instruction set for optimized code density and low code size. The processor also contains an integrated tight loop branch instruction, which eliminates a cycle of overhead and improves the performance compared to the original ARM Cortex-M processor.

The integrated NEON DSP engine is an advanced floating-point engine that optimizes real-time signal processing tasks such as audio signal processing, video processing, power management, and data filtering.
