SK-FM3-48PMC-USBSTICK is a compact evaluation board and part of the SuperH™ RISC microcontroller (MCU) family designed to enable rapid prototyping and development of hardware and software applications. Not only does the SK-FM3-48PMC-USBSTICK provide designers with an easy-to-use and hardware/software compatible platform for developing applications, but the board includes a SuperH™ RISC MCU with 4MBytes of on-chip Flash and 128KBytes of RAM, as well as the ability to quickly develop, debug, and evaluate applications in real-time. The board also includes a USB port and can also be used with a PC.
The SK-FM3-48PMC-USBSTICK application field is broad and covers a variety of embedded applications including embedded control, machine vision, networking, consumer products, and automotive platforms. It can also be used to develop sophisticated graphics user interfaces (GUIs) for systems such as industrial automation and medical imaging.
The SK-FM3-48PMC-USBSTICK is powered by a 32-bit SuperH™ RISC MCU core running at up to 100MHz, and has an integrated cache memory, giving the board plenty of power for executing program instructions quickly.
