SL28773ELC is an integrated timing IC that provides an extremely low power, high accuracy and extremely low jitter clock generator solution for timing applications. It integrates three independent clock sources: quartz crystal oscillator, a RC oscillator and a voltage-controlled crystal oscillator (VCXO). The robust on-chip clock generator also offers a total of up to 10 outputs, 8 of which can be controlled by a single programmable output offset. These features make SL28773ELC an ideal choice for powering a wide range of timing applications.The SL28773ELC is a clock generator that is designed to provide a reliable, accurate and low jitter clock source to timing applications in the frequency range of 10 kHz – 32 MHz. It is designed for low power operation and can generate up to 8 clock outputs from a single oscillator input. The integrated quartz crystal oscillator and RC oscillator can be programmed to operate at different frequencies and controlled by the VCXO. The VCXO offers an adjustable output frequency range from 10 kHz to 32 MHz.SL28773ELC also supports the generation of clock outputs in two different modes: Single-Ended mode and Differential-Mode (D-Mode). In Single-Ended mode, the skew between successive clock pulses is minimized and eliminates jitter, making the design of frequency-hopping systems easier. On the other hand, in D-Mode, a single input is used to generate multiple clocks with a skew of up to 90 degrees between successive clock pulses. This feature is especially useful for timing multiple sub-components in a system.The ability of SL28773ELC to generate multiple clock outputs with an adjustable jitter makes it suitable for a variety of timing applications. For example, in radio and satellite communications systems, the clock generator can be used to provide timing to receivers, transmitters and other electronic components in the system. Additionally, SL28773ELC can be used in datacenters and cloud computing centers to generate and synchronize clock sources for storage and network components.
