SL2S1612FUD,003 is an Ultra-Low Frequency (ULF) 7.5KHz Sector Reader IC designed to support a variety of RFID, RF Access, and Monitoring application fields.This IC is able to work with low power consumption, small size, and long life working performance. The integrations an optimized antenna design, along with this low power consumption can increase the operation life while reducing the power consumption so that it can suits for battery-powered or solar-powered applications. Equipped with built-in digital demodulator, high performance noiseless DC regulators, processers, and operational amplifiers, the IC is configured to efficiently read data from nearby tags in any operational environment.
Operation Principle
SL2S1612FUD,003 works based on Radio Frequency Identification (UHF) travelling wave principles. Its demodulation and encoding techniques use a VSB (Virtually Shielded Balanced) modulation format which is superior to competing modulation techniques. It can provides detection of low-power, high-efficiency performance in UHF signals, with superior noise immunity, anti-collision capability, simultaneously reading and writing to multiple tags, and fast processing of high packet data rate of up to 10Mbps.
It supports 8bit/16bit/Scan Type Configurations and supports up to 32 bit I/O pin operation. It can acts as a transmitter analog transceiver and a receiver/transmitter analog transceiver. This combination enables it to transmit data from the reader to the IC and receive data from the IC to the reader. Additionally, it can synchronize multiple readers by multiplexing multiple on-chip sub-carriers.
