Clock/Timing - Clock Generators, PLLs, Frequency Synthesizers consisting of SM802116UMG is a highly integrated integrated clock generator and clock buffer system. It is a high performance frequency synthesizer that can be used to generate precise fixed-frequency clock signals and has the capability to generate up to six different selectable clock frequencies from an input reference. This integrated system provides up to twelve independent outputs suitable for phase-locked loop (PLL) or delay-locked loop (DLL) applications.

The SM802116UMG consists of a pair of clock generators and clock buffers. The first clock generator, called the \'reference\', is used to generate an accurate reference clock signal. The second clock generator, called the \'synthesizer\', is used to generate up to six different selectable clock frequencies from the reference clock signal.
