The SMAJ70A-13-F transient voltage suppressor diode is such an example. Working Principle
The principle of operation in the SMAJ70A-13-F transient voltage suppressor diode is based on its internal MOSFET-like structure. When the device is subjected to a voltage that is higher than its rated breakdown voltage, the MOSFET-like structure begins to conduct, allowing current to flow through the device and dissipating the excessive pulse.
