SMDJ40A M6G is a general purpose unidirectional transient voltage suppression diode series manufactured by PAN JIT. It is mainly used in the data lines of various equipment networks, telecommunication equipment, various personal electrical products and other fields. Its primary functions include the suppression of lightning, electrostatic discharge and electrical noise and providing power supply protection for electronic components.

The SMDJ40A M6G Power Diode includes a proprietary structure. Its epilayer structure is designed for fast response and has a high surge capability, which can suppress ESD and lightning surge current. The device also has a built in two terminal thermal fuse, which provides additional protection in event of shorts or other misuses. The device has an excellent reverse clamping capability and excellent surge performance. The diode operates from -65 V to +400 V with a working current of 40 A.
