The Peak Gate-Source Voltage (VGSP) is the maximum Gate voltage at which the Gate-Controlled Triac will turn on. The Offset Gate-Source Voltage (VGOD) is the minimum Gate voltage at which the Gate-Controlled Triac will turn off. When the Gate voltage is between VGSP and VGOD, the thyristor can remain in either the on or off state, depending on the current flow.
