The SMS3RDH1 is a rectangular connector housing manufactured by Japan\'s TE Connectivity (formerly Airmate) and is part of their Sub-Miniature Series 3 (SMS) line of connector housings. The SMS3RDH1 connector housing is a low-profile, right-angle, single-position snap-lock connector made entirely from thermoplastic materials, such as polybutylene terephthalate, polyester, and glass-filled nylon.

This 1.3-mm tall connector features an integral latch and can be easily snapped together with a mating connector and/or receptacle. It is available in three versions, each of which are capable of mating with the appropriate version of a 1.25-mm pitch subminiature male¬-to-male connector or receptacle. These three versions are the SMS3RDH1A, the SMS3RDH1B, and the SMS3RDH1C. The three versions are differentiated from one another by the total number of cavities and/or shell sizes that they contain, and by the specific color of overmold that each version features.

The SMS3RDH1 connectors are suitable for a variety of electrical and mechanical applications, including control boxes, instrumentation, and process control systems. Because they are manufactured to meet IP67 sealing requirements, they are also suitable for use in wet or dirty environments.
