The SN65HVS883PWP is an IC designed as a serializer and deserializer for connecting high speed FPD-Link III link in automotive vision systems. The SN65HVS883PWP can connect up to four FPD-Link III cameras in these systems, making it ideal for automotive vision applications.
The SN65HVS883PWP supports resolutions up to 0.3 mega-pixel (Mpx) and high bandwidth up to 1.5 Gbps. It has very low DC power draw and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. SN65HVS883PWP also supports LVDS, RS-485 and Low Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) for connection across the FPD-Link III bus.
The SN65HVS883PWP contains a MIPI data capture and transmit engine, PLL clock synthesizer, serializer, deserializer and receivers and transmitters for connecting FPD-Link III type links. The PLL clock synthesizer allocates the clock and data signals from the connected camera to the connections of the SN65HVS883PWP, guaranteeing that the timing of the signals on the link are correctly synchronized at both sides. This ensures a reliable data transmission and proper operation within the camera\'s serial communication and the FPD-Link III type link.
The SN65HVS883PWP contains a built-in digital filter to reject unwanted noise, which helps to ensure a reliable data connection between the system components. The filter contains 4 stages, with the first stage configured to reject frequencies up to 900MHz, the second stage is configured to reject frequencies up to 1.5GHz, and the third and fourth stages reject unwanted source noise at either side of the FPD-Link III type link.
