Working Principle of SN65LVDS388ADBTR
The SN65LVDS388ADBTR can transmit up to 24 bits of very high speed (up to 500 Mbps) data from one system to another over a single pair of LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling) cables. LVDS uses a special type of cable called a shielded twisted pair with a differential signaling scheme to send data. This type of cable has proven to be very reliable and low interference in the transmission of high speed data. The SN65LVDS388ADBTR provides an easier and more cost effective way to link a wide range of devices via a single twisted pair cable. The device has an effective supply voltage of 1.8V to 2.5V and contains three differential inputs, a differential output, control signal and a data clock input.
The SN65LVDS388ADBTR converts the input data signal into a low voltage differential signal output and has the necessary termination resistors and voltage regulators to provide the necessary LVDS protocol.
