Working Principle

The SN74ABT16853DLG4 integrates four non-inverting buffers and four inverting buffers into a single package, thus making it well suited for transmission and reception of differential data between transmitting and receiving devices. It also features a selectable input threshold voltage of 0.8V, 1.1V or 1.5V. The differential inputs are such that for a high-impedance (3-state) output, the voltage must be lower than the selectable input threshold voltage, while for a low-impedance (low) output, it has to be higher than the selectable input threshold voltage. This feature makes it suitable for low-power and low-skew applications.
