The SN74ABT533APW is a high-performance, low-power octal latch from the Texas Instruments series of memory ICs. When the enable input is de-asserted, all the outputs (Q0-Q7) go to their high-impedance state. The SN74ABT533APW is capable of operating at a supply voltage of 2.7V to up to 5.5V, with a maximum process voltage of 4.5V.This octal latch IC comes in two versions, the standard SN74ABT533APW, and an advanced version with additional capability (SN74ABT533APWL-Q1). Both of these version are available in surface-mount technology in the small form-factor TSSOP (Thermal anode Small Outline Package) and SOIC (Small Outline Integrated Circuit) packages.The SN74ABT533APW and its advanced version are designed for data transfer and duplication. They are widely used in fast data input and output applications, such as communication systems, LCD backplanes, memories, and data buses. In addition, the SN74ABT533APW can be used in combination with the Intel E8500 processor to develop test systems.This octal latch IC has three types of inputs: data inputs (D0-D7), enable input (E), and strobe input (STRB). The data inputs are used to store the data when the enable input is asserted. The strobe input is active when the enable input is high, and it is used to update the data simultaneously on all data outputs upon a rising edge. The device has 8 data outputs (Q0-Q7), which are in active-high or active-low TTL configuration.
