The SN74AHC367D is a member of Texas Instruments\' Advanced High-Speed CMOS (AHC) logic family, specifically designed to operate with a single 3.3V VCC supply and to accommodate 5V input voltage. The SN74AHC367D is a Dual 4-Input Multiplexer with Non-inverting 3-State Outputs, which belongs to the Logic - Buffers, Drivers, Receivers, Transceivers. With the standard logic family inputs, it allows operation directly from TTL logic levels; while still allowing it to interface to CMOS logic. The device has a high peak output current of 48mA, ensuring that hefty loads like relay coils or LEDs can be driven directly.

The device has a single address toggle input, which is connected to the four (4) Select (S0 and S1) inputs, providing an address toggle with each chip select. A logic 0 applied to an S0 or S1 input will select one of the four (4) data words, and a logic 1 on an S0 and S1 input with the address toggle will select another data word. Data words are connected to the Data (D0 to D3) inputs and are selected to the output (Y) via the differential analog multiplexer. When the SELECT inputs are high (logic 1), the output is in the High-Impedance (non-active) state.

The SN74AHC367D works with a high speed CMOS gate. The device is designed to operate over the wide temperature range of -55 to- 125 degrees Celsius, with excellent characteristics over ambient temperatures of 0 to- 70 degrees Celsius. It provides high fan-out capability with a low 6 unit I/O load, in order to improve circuit speed and reduce the number of powered circuits needed. With its Enable (E) input, the device can be placed in a high speed low power stand-by mode when not switching.
