The SN74ALS241CN is a voltage regulated, low power Buffer, Driver, Receiver and Transceiver, which can be used for serial communication. It converts two input lines into four output lines. The working is based on the electrical concepts of logic gates and their operation. It consists of two sections - Buffer and Transceiver. The Buffer section is responsible for driving the input lines. It is composed of four separate gates which can be switch on and off independently by the two inputs lines. The gates are implemented in metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFETs) with single supply voltage control. The Transceiver section is responsible for transmitting the input data. It uses four independent logic gates. This section isdesigned to respond to logic-level switching between the inputs and outputs. The gate output is controlled by the logic level at its inputs. When the input signals is low, the gate outputs are OFF, and when the input is high, it outputs are ON.Conclusion
