The device is composed of four channel independent 8-bit buffers, with two channel independent 8-bit receiver/drivers, transceivers, and input enable (IE) pins. The transceivers allow data to be sent and received on the same channel simultaneously.The receiver/drivers can convert multiple supply voltages ranging from 1.2V to 3.3V and the transceivers can be configured to operate in half-duplex or full-duplex mode. The SN74ALVCH162344VR operates by taking input data and transmitting it through an output port. The logic terminals act as an interface between the input/output and the internal logic levels.The logic levels are determined by the logic threshold voltage [VOH] and logic 0 voltage [VOL]. Generally, the logic threshold voltage is set higher than the logic 0 voltage, so that logic 0s are recognized as 0 and logic 1s are recognized as 1.When data is sent from the input terminals to the output terminals, the SN74ALVCH162344VR controls the logic levels accordingly and sends the data to the output. The transceiver-mode allows the output port to receive data from the input port simultaneously.
