Working Principle

The SN74AS760N’s working principle is based on the 74 series logic family’s standard TTL manufacturing process. It uses an active-low 4-input control signal to select one of the four active low outputs. When the control signal is set to 0V, the corresponding output will be enabled, while all other outputs are disabled. The SN74AS760N also features three-state outputs, meaning that the output can be disabled as well, allowing for a greater amount of control over the application at hand.

The SN74AS760N also inherently includes an active low-enable pin that allows for multiplexer operation. When the enable pin is set to 0V, all outputs are disabled.
