This versatile product is designed to offer a very high level of integration by combining a counter, four latches, and an oscillator in a single chip device. This device is also designed to be very configurable, allowing the user to choose a desired operating frequency and duty cycle. The SN74AS867DWRG4 is intended for use in digital signal processing, automotive, aerospace and industrial control applications. The SN74AS867DWRG4 is functionally programmable and consists of four independent latches driven by an embedded oscillator. The device has a common clock and reset signal for all the internal functional units, which eliminates the need for an externally generated signal. The device also supports software clock disable, allowing the device to be completely shut off when not in use. The four latches in the device can be programmed with logic functions such asAND-OR, OR-AND, and logic cascade.
