The SN74AUP1T57DRYR is a single channel, bi-directional universal bus translator that provides a high-performance bridge between two different voltage domains. This device is designed to support dual-supply applications, with each side of the translator independently powered. It quickly and reliably translates logic signals between two different voltage-level families, and it is suitable for use in multiple logic families, such as ttl, LVTTL, HSTL, and SSTL. Furthermore, being a universal bus translator, it is optimized for use in multiple bus applications, such as PCIe, USB, Ethernet, CAN, HSI, and I2C, and can provide level shifting between multiple low-voltage or high-voltage standards.

The SN74AUP1T57DRYR uses an improved transmission gate based design, which provides it with extremely low voltage and time drop across the translator. This device has very low on-resistance, allowing it to drive up to 15pF of capacitive load. In addition, this device has an input threshold of 2.0V, and its output voltage levels range from 0.8V to 1.5V respectively.
