The SN74LV245ANSRG4 is a Buffer/Line Driver, Receiver and Transceiver under the Logic - Buffers, Drivers, Receivers, Transceivers category. The SN74LV245ANSRG4 is an octal bus transceiver that combines a bus buffer and data routing for simple system designs. The SN74LV245ANSRG4 contains 8 independent non-inverting bidirectional buffers, drivable by both 3.3V and 5V logic levels. Each buffer has two separate enable input pins, one for receiving 3.3V logic level and one for 5V logic level.

The two enable inputs are designed to be active-low for easy interface to TTL level (or higher) logic. The SN74LV245ANSRG4 provides both 3.3V and 5V voltage tolerant input/output port so it can be used as a level shifter between 5V and 3.3V system devices.
