Logic - Flip Flops is a sequential logic circuit which is primarily based on a clocked device to provide data storage and data transfer. SN74LVC2G80DCURG4 is a high performance dual D-Type Flip-Flop with two Clear and two Set inputs. This device features a high-speed design characterised for a Clock to Output Q delay of 6.25 ns, a tPD of 4.85 ns, and high output current of 25 mA. It has excellent noise immunity characterised by a 0.5 ns typical low-to-high and high-to-low Clock pulse width and an adjustable trip point of 0.45 V to 2.5 V.
SN74LVC2G80DCURG4 applications include logic data storage, logic sampling, and state machine implementation among others. This device is based on low-voltage CMOS technology in order to provide ultra high-speed operation, low stand-by power dissipation and high noise immunity. Also, it is suitable for operation over the temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, and achieves a maximum frequency of 5 MHz.
SN74LVC2G80DCURG4 is a dual port device that is composed of two identical latch circuits. Each latch has independent Clear, Set and Data inputs and Data and Q outputs. Setting the Clear to low level clears the latch and the output goes to a low state independently of the Data input. Rising the Set input level sets the latch, the output being latched to a high state. The Data input levels are transferred to the respective output when a rising edge of the Clock is detected. Both ff are active low.
The Data, Set and Clear inputs on a latch have compatibility with other TTL or CMOS standards. This device can be used with inputs or outputs from a variety of circuits such as buffers, bus lines, counters and shift registers. SN74LVC2G80DCURG4 can also be used to dramatically increase the speed and performance of the circuit.
