Working Principle

When a low voltage signal is sent to the gate of the device, the internal pull-up resistor pulls the voltage up to the threshold voltage level, which is determined by the device’s external pull-up resistor. When the voltage reaches this level, the device driver’s output turns on, allowing the switch to be turned on. When the input voltage drops below the threshold voltage, the output is turned off and the switch is turned off.
