SNF620029 is a high-performance single-line driver and clock buffer used in a variety of applications. This part is suitable for use in wide range of digital systems, including microprocessors, digital signal processors (DSPs), digital-to-analog converters (DACs), and field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs).
It has two input ports, two output ports and one additional terminal that enables wither the input signals or the output signals. The input terminals can be used to drive up to 10 output drivers. The device can be configured as either a low-voltage differential signal (LVDS) or a standard TTL level device. All outputs are LVDS compatible.
The SNF620029 provides excellent power, noise and skew performance and is ideal for driving high-speed clock/data traffic. The device utilizes a proprietary Quadribus technology for enhanced performance and reliability. The device features integrated VREF comparators and a strobe driver for improved operation with complex data buses. The quadribus technology allows for improved signal integrity and power savings.
The SNF620029 is designed to operate in an asynchronous, half-duplex mode, allowing data and/or clock lines to be driven to either two receive buffers or two transmit buffers. The device supports full frequency range scanning with all of the outputs capable of operating up to 300 MHz. The outputs are fully synchronized, allowing all of the outputs to switch at the same time. The SNF620029 also supports spread spectrum clock operation, allowing for lower EMI/RFI emissions.
The device also provides an on-chip watchdog timer to monitor input signals and reset the system in case of a catastrophic failure.The device can be configured to provide differential or single-ended outputs based on the user\'s design requirements.
