SP3087EICF

The SP3087EICF is an inter-integrated circuit (I2C) interface driver, receiver and transceiver that connects low-speed I2C devices to an I2C bus. By using the SP3087EICF, the entire I2C bus can be transmitted to up to 6 devices. It has an application field in low-level communication between devices, with a fast data transfer rate of up to 200Kbps.

The SP3087EICF features two modes of operation, a multi-master mode and a single-master mode. In the multi-master mode, each of the 6 devices connected to the bus can have its own data clock, allowing multiple devices to share the same bus. In the single-master mode, only one device is allowed to have a data clock, and all other devices are forced to slave mode.

The working principle of the SP3087EICF is based on the I2C protocol standard, which is based on the open-collector communication scheme. Generally, an I2C bus is composed of two lines, the serial data line (SDA) and the serial clock line (SCL). The SDA line is used to transmit data and the SCL line is used to synchronize the data transmission. When the SCL line is high, each device connected to the I2C bus can either transmit or receive data. When the SCL line is low, the data transmission stops and each device connected to the I2C bus will enter a wait state, waiting for the SCL line to become high again.
