The SP3495EEN-L/TR application field and working principle, is the combination of low-voltage differential signalling, testability, and transitional mode operation of the interface with various host microprocessors and peripherals. This application field is used in various communication and computer applications.The SP3495EEN-L/TR is a low-voltage differential signalling transceiver and driver, with a high speed operation range of up to 3.2 Gbps. It supports both LVDS and low-swing LVDS (LS-LVDS) writing modes. The SP3495EEN-L/TR is extremely versatile, as it can be configured for many different applications.The SP3495EEN-L/TR interface consists of two channels of LVDS transceiver, which provides a differential drive with low-voltage differential signalling. The two channels are connected to each other, allowing bidirectional communication to take place. The two channels of receivers and drivers are powered by an internal 3.3V power supply providing them with sufficient current to operate at the specified data rate. The SP3495EEN-L/TR transceivers can support communications between different devices, such as the host processor and peripherals, and also between multiple devices.The SP3495EEN-L/TR transceiver operates using differential sine wave modulation with a 55-MHz carrier. This technique increases the interference immunity and reduces the amount of power dissipated as well as overall system noise. The sine wave modulation uses a differential clock and data line that are cross-coupled to form a differential pair. This allows the data to be transmitted without being affected by noise and with a high degree of accuracy. The 55MHz carrier frequency provides a large bandwith and high data rates.The SP3495EEN-L/TR transceiver is highly adaptable, with on-chip programmable impedance termination, adjustable slew rate, adjustable output swing, and adjustable gain control. The adjustable output swing ensures that the signal will remain within the specified output voltage range for the device. The adjustable gain control ensures the signal levels remain within the specified values when connected to different output devices. The adjustable slew rate allows the SP3495EEN-L/TR to maintain signal integrity while operating at high frequencies over longer distances.The SP3495EEN-L/TR transceiver also includes an internal EEC-3B autodetect circuit. This circuit detects if the signal from the high-speed data connector is LVDS or LS-LVDS writing mode and configures itself accordingly. This allows the transceiver to support both writing modes allowing for an easier design for the device.The SP3495EEN-L/TR is suitable for a variety of different applications, including embedded systems, automotive networking, data storage, consumer electronics, and medical imaging applications. This combination of low-voltage differential signalling, testability, and transitional mode operation of the SP3495EEN-L/TR makes it a versatile and attractive device for a variety of applications.
