This hardware offers a low-cost solution for data exchange between subsystems and full compatibility with established standards.In the video processing linear device, the STDP2650ADT is an evolved version of the STDP2650A chips, which offer optimized video processing linear performance with the addition of advanced features beyond the original. This improved device provides a superior level of video scalability, soft image enhancements, and advanced gamma correction. Furthermore, it provides outstanding quality for almost any kind of video programming.The overall performance of the STDP2650ADT is boosted by its Video Scalability that provides improved picture quality, as well as features such as 3D Tile Downscaling and Pixel Aggregation. The device also employs improved Super Image Enhancement Technology (SIET) that makes a feature of its poor picture quality, its low complexity, and its superior noise immunity. The device\'s Advanced Gamma Correction enables the efficient adjustment of the video brightness and contrast of the output.The STDP2650ADT chip offers two modes of operation: single-link or dual-link. In single-link operation, the chip can take in a single input signal and process it for HDTV, V-chip/Y-chip/DVD, high-definition TV/AV/DSS, set-top box, DVC-PVR, DKR/SDS decoder, cable receiver, and switching systems. In dual-link operation, the device can take in two inputs and then process them for various other applications, such as for web streaming, recordings, and cable distribution.Finally, the STDP2650ADT device contains a unique “self-configure” feature that allows the user to easily configure and control the device, even after it has been powered off. The self-configure feature also ensures that the device is easily installable, with minimal effort. The device also features an integrated audio processor, which allows for smooth, high-quality audio.
