1. Description

The STM32F427xx and STM32F429ZIT6 devices are based on a high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M4 32-bit RISC core running at frequencies up to 180 MHz. The Cortex-M4 core has a floating-point unit (FPU) single-precision and supports all Arm® single-precision data processing instructions and data types. It also implements a full set of DSP Instructions and memory protection unit (MPU) to enhance application security. STM32F427xx and STM32F429xx devices integrate high-speed embedded Memory (Flash up to 2 MB, up to 256 KB of SRAM), up to 4 KB of Backup SRAM, and a wide range of enhanced I/O and peripherals connected to two APB bus, two AHB buses and a 32-bit multi-AHB bus matrix. All devices provide three 12-bit ADCs, two DACs, one low-power RTC, twelve general-purpose 16-bit timers, including two PWM timers for motor control, and two general-purpose 32-bit timers. They also have standard and advanced communication interfaces.
