STM32L4R9I-DISCO is a low-cost and flexible evaluation board with various application fields and working principles. Meant to be used in embedded, MCU, DSP and general applications, the STM32L4R9I-DISCO is an easy-to-use development board with an ARM Cortex-M4 processor core and STM32L4 Ultra Low Power Technology. This evaluation board offers the greatest possibilities for quick development and implementation of sophisticated applications, without additional hardware design - e.g. it includes an ST-LINK emulator, 650-nA for real-time clock, independent watchdogs, a complete range of standard communication protocols, plus an independent low-power core.The STM32L4R9I-DISCO is an ideal platform for low power embedded system design. It has a wide range of features including a 25 MHz system clock, two serial communications channels, an analog-to-digital converter (ADC), advanced cryptography features, a microcontroller debug interface, a communication interface and a Peripheral Touch Panel Interface (PTPI). Additionally, the STM32L4R9I-DISCO has two independent low power cores and a low power peripheral interface that can be used to optimize power management.The STM32L4R9I-DISCO comes with an on-board ST-Link that controls debugging and configuration possibilities through an ST-LINK emulator. With this emulator, the board can be directly connected to PC, providing debugging and application generation support for system-on-module solutions. System development can be done through freely downloadable software tools such as TrueSTUDIO and ARM®-compatible development tools.The board also includes the STM32L4 Ultra Low Power Technology, which allows for efficient power management. This technology uses block-level power management techniques, such as standby and hibernate states, to reduce power consumption.
