Hey6288 adopts the 8051-enhanced Harvard architecture, which divides the memory into Flash, RAM, and EEPROM. It also integrates 4-level power control system and a large set of peripherals, including UART, I2C, DWT, SPI, PWM and MSC.

When the system is in the run state, the instruction will be read from the Flash and transcribed into instruction cache after decoding, and the data will be read from the RAM. If the time-sensitive criterion is met, the instruction in the instruction cache will be executed immediately to ensure the execution speed of the program.

In idle state, the clock and bus are still working, but only part of the system is kept running to reduce power consumption. In deep idle mode, the system clock and Flash memory will be shut down, and only the RAM will remain running to reduce power consumption more severely.

In sleep mode, the core clock and all peripherals are shut down and only a few bus interfaces are staying work. The power consumption in this mode is the lowest, and can be as low as 14uA / MHz.
