The STM8L151R8T3 microcontroller also features an internal reference voltage generator, voltage regulator, and an adjustable slew rate, which enable the device to operate over a wide range of operating voltages (1.8V-5.5V). Other features such as high speed capture interface, four/eight UARTS, Universal Synchronous/Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter (UART), LIN, SPI, I2C and Multiplexed Serial Peripheral Interface (MSPI) make the STM8L151R8T3 the ideal choice for many applications.
The STM8L151R8T3 microcontroller also offers a range of timing capabilities such as a low-power timer (LPTIM) which can be used in Real-time Clock (RTC) and Memory Backup Regulator (MBR) modes and offers AES security for data protection, external clock input/output circuitry, Multi-Numeral Counter Input/Output (MNCI/O) for pulse width modulation (PWM) control, and a low-power watchdog timer (LWDT).
