The STMPE801QTR is a member of a new family of I/O Expanders designed to add extra Digital I/O, Analog Input, and I2C/SPI Quasi-Synchronous Interface functions to a user’s system. This family of devices allows for simple, low-cost expansion and automation of interface functions for small and medium-sized applications. The STMPE801QTR is pin compatible with the STMPE801, and is intended to provide more features and ESD protection on the digital I/O and analog input lines, while providing the same digital function.
