STPKCH7MIG application field and working principle

STPKCH7MIG is a type of forging/welded machines, developed by Salzgitter Group in Germany, aiming at automatic water cooling and power saving. It has two major fields of use: construction and heavy industry.

Applications in construction

In construction, STPKCH7MIG can be used for welding and forging many types of metals. It is the ideal solution for high precision and continuous work, such as welding rebar and other steel. It is also suitable for welding aluminum alloy parts, such as aluminum window frames, door frames, and curtain supports.

Applications in heavy industry

In heavy industry, STPKCH7MIG machines are used to weld and forge extra-thick steel and other metals with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. It is ideal for manufacturing industrial parts such as axles, gears, turbines, and bearings. It is also suitable for welding and fabricating metal containers and tanks.

Working principle

The STPKCH7MIG machines produce an intense electrical arc, generated by a stack of copper electrodes. This arc melts the forged materials and then automatically powers off when the weld is done. The welding temperature is adjusted and regulated by the system according to the material type and thickness. The special welding power supply adds water cooling and regeneration, as well as providing a reliable output power.

The welding process is monitored by the system through self-testing and can be programmed to adjust settings like the language, weld time, wire feed rate, arc time, weld current, and pre and post weld parameters. This allows for maximum welding accuracy and consistent results. Furthermore, the system is designed to minimize the ampere consumption and increase the welding power.
