The STTA2006PI is a single, fast-switching, single-phase rectifier diode capable of suppressing high frequency electromagnetic noise, either generated by the equipment or picked up from the environment. It can be used in applications where high speed switching and/or very low losses are required such as rectifier circuits, signal conditioning, high frequency power supplies and inverters. This diode utilizes a new "Pi-Eco" process that offers fast switching capability, eliminating switching time performance losses that are usually associated with the use of p-n junction diodes.

The STTA2006PI is a 25V, 150A, fast-switching, single-phase rectifier diode with a forward surge current rating of 3A. It is capable of withstanding temperatures from -55°C to +125°C and is capable of dissipating 1750 watts (25°C). The diode features fast switching speeds and very low forward voltage drop making it suitable for high frequency applications.

In terms of its physical characteristics, the STTA2006PI is an axial leaded, dual-piezoelectric molded in TO-263 package and comes with standard lead (Pb) free plating. It has an epoxy sealed body with excellent heat dissipation capabilities that guarantees a long product lifetime of over 25,000 hours.
