SY10E111JY is a high-speed, low-skew, 3-state clock buffer. It is employed by logic designers to amplify, drive and fan out different kinds of clocks and other signals while maintaining minimal output-to-output propagation delays and skew across multiple outputs. It features two regulation modes, dynamic and static, each with three types of feedback, allowing it to operate in a fast and clean output condition with minimal or no jitter or ringing.The SY10E111JY parts are available in voltage ratings ranging from 2.5V to 3.6V and feature input rise and fall times of 75ps and an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C.In dynamic regulation mode, the SY10E111JY operates as a 3-state buffer and its outputs can be used for capacitive loads up to 50pF. In this mode, the SY10E111JY senses the load capacitance and adjusts the output drive strength accordingly. The driver has an internal voltage regulator which adjusts the drive strength as the output capacitance varies. The dynamic regulation logic provides an optimum output drive strength at any given load condition.In static regulation mode the SY10E111JY operates as a 2-state buffer, that is, it has no 3-state flexibility. This mode limits the operating temperature range to -40°C to +75°C and requires an input rise and fall times of 25ps. There are three types of feedback employed in static regulation mode: internal, external and adjustable.Internal feed back is provided by the chip and it adjusts the output drive strength automatically. This mode is ideal for low capacitive loads.External feedback is provided by the user and it adjusts the output drive strength manually. The user has to set the output drive strength by adjusting the external feedback components. This mode is suitable for large capacitive loads.Adjustable feedback is provided by the on-chip voltage regulator that adjusts the output drive strength automatically. This mode is suitable for both low and large capacitive loads.The SY10E111JY also features a power-on reset that can be used to initialize the outputs to an idle state.The SY10E111JY is a low-cost, high-performance, flexible clock buffer suitable for a wide range of applications. It is used in clock synchronization and distribution; bus architecture; protocol conversion; memory organization; and other clock-sensitive applications. It is also used in the telecom and networking sectors.
