SIT10E111LJC is an adjustable 3-state differential clock buffer/driver device designed for Clock/Timing applications. Its adjustable switching voltage and slew rate together with its 3-state output enables it to provide the necessary clock and data signals for the system. The SIT10E111LJC device consists of four clock buffer/drivers, which accept low-voltage (5V) input signals and output 3-state, differential outputs at up to 8 times the typically specified frequency range (1.5GHz peak). The device is capable of providing a range of output drive currents up to 35mA, based on the SIT10E111LJC internal capability. The SIT10E111LJC is highly reliable and operates with a range of operating temperatures. If desired, the user can adjust the variable slew rate and adaptive switching voltage of the output signal to avoid overdriving the device during periods of peak power draw, or during transfer of relatively high amounts of data. The SIT10E111LJC provides excellent ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection, making it suitable for systems that are subjected to high electrical stress, such as telecommunication and medical systems. The device also provides a tight thermal design to the maximum allowable temperature range in order to avoid operating under hazardous conditions. The SIT10E111LJC features a rising or falling edge buffered output, integrated logic level shifter, and adjustable output voltage for compatibility with specific system requirements. The output delay, also adjustable, offers a range of clock outputs which enable it to send predetermined data streams with great accuracy. Also, the SIT10E111LJC supports a feature whereby the internal output buffer is inverted and the output is disabled when a 10K resistor is connected to Vdd. Additionally, the SIT10E111LJC has an optional input buffer which is enabled when connected to Vdd.The SIT10E111LJC has multiple applications in clock/timing applications, specifically in the area of clock and data buffering.
