SY10EPT20VKG is a typically logic-level translator, which is designed to help two voltage domains with different logic levels communicating with each other. By providing an adjustable output voltage, it can reach the appropriate translation threshold between the two logic levels. Breifly, SY10EPT20VKG core logic is a HCCT (High−Current Cross−Coupled Translator). A HCCT consists of two saturated devices that turn on when their respective inputs go low, allowing current to flow in either direction between the regimes. The output in the highspeed regime closely follows the input in the slow regime.SY10EPT20VKG uses the same configuration, but with the addition of a voltage regulator which can be adjusted to create proper logic level translation between the regimes. The device works as a bi-directional level shifter that responds to the slow logic input while the transistor maintains a regulated output voltage.
