The SY56028XRMG is a timing device designed for clock and buffering applications. It features two independent, differential clock inputs and eight clock outputs. The outputs of the SY56028XRMG can be individually configured for single-ended or differential operation. The two clock divider inputs can be controlled in real-time, allowing for dynamic frequency adjustments, while the Clock Outputs can be enabled and disabled as required.
The SY56028XRMG also includes a slew rate control, allowing for setting the rate of clock slew. This can be used to reduce noise, increase signal integrity, reduce system power consumption and enable operation at higher frequencies. The input to output skew can be set to less than a nanosecond when the device is operated with a single clock input.
The SY56028XRMG features a power-down functionality, allowing for a reduction of power consumption when the device is not in use. The device is based on a low power BiCMOS process which allows it to operate at voltages as low as 1.5V. In addition, it operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
