SY87700VHC Application Field and Working Principle

The SY87700VHC is an application-specific Clock/Timing device designed by Sanusiyu Timing Systems. It is primarily used in digital signal processor (DSP) systems, providing users with a well-defined and accurate clock signal. The SY87700VHC is designed to meet the needs of high-performance digital processing and offers a wide range of low-jitter clock frequencies, up to 120MHz.The SY87700VHC is a voltage-controlled, fully-integrated clock Synthesizer and Frequency Divider. It features a differential sine-wave output and a clock signal source that is derived from an external clock source. It also provides an auto-calibration feature for its zero-delay frequency adjust setting. This auto-calibration feature allows for the exact adjustment of the clock frequency to the exact value desired. The SY87700VHC is capable of quickly selecting from a wide range of clock frequencies, allowing for easy selection of the required frequency setting.The SY87700VHC works by using a differential sine-wave output which is generated using two internal lookup tables. It then samples this signal with a low-jitter oscillator and subsequently generates the clock signal. This signal is then further divided to create the desired clock frequency and outputted as a differential sine-wave. This greatly reduces jitter and crosstalk from the clock signal.The SY87700VHC is capable of outputting a wide variety of clock frequencies and provides automatic support for the required clock frequencies. This feature eliminates the need for manual frequency adjustments and provides the user with flexibility in selecting the desired clock frequency. Furthermore, it also offers selectable phase shifting capabilities and a wide range of output drive current options, allowing it to be used in a variety of applications.In addition to its low jitter Clock/Timing device, the SY87700VHC also offers automatic phase alignment, frequency and duty cycle auto calibration, output drive level adjustment, and both single- and dual-ended output. These features make the SY87700VHC a versatile device and ideal for use in precision Timing applications. The device also offers an adjustable reference range which provides the user with the ability to fine-tune the PLL reference frequency.
