The SY87700VHH from IDT is a Low-Power, High Performance Undersampling Clock/Timing Generator solution. The SY87700VHH provides a high-performance solution for applications requiring an undersampling digital clock/timing solution in an ultra-low power package. It is suitable for a wide range of application specific designs and is designed to support a number of different input clock frequencies. The SY87700VHH provides a programmable output frequency range ranging from 5 MHz to 300 MHz and is available in three different power supply versions.

The SY87700VHH is well-suited for applications that require lower power consumption and higher performance. In addition, the SY87700VHH offers numerous advantages when compared to conventional undersampling clock / timing solutions. It supports an input frequency range of 6 Hz up to 250 MHz, providing a wider range of output frequency options and improved system performance.

The SY87700VHH features a low-power and non-volatile programmable frequency select architecture. This allows clock rates from 5 MHz up to 300 MHz to be programmed by the user. Additionally, the SY87700VHH can be configured for a wide range of operating voltages, providing a robust and reliable solution for applications requiring a low voltage power supply. Furthermore, the SY87700VHH features integrated spread spectrum for improved EMI performance, making it well-suited for high-speed clock/timing applications.

The SY87700VHH features programmable divide-by-N and multiply-by-X ratios. This enables the user to customize their clock/timing system to the exact requirements of their application in order to maximize the system’s performance. Furthermore, the SY87700VHH can be configured to produce jittered clocks. This allows the clock/timing system to avoid the jitter caused by multiple clock edges occurring within the same clock cycle.
