Thyristors, also known as TRIACs, are solid-state devices which are widely used in electronics. They are usually in three-terminal packages and consist of four layers of semiconductor material, comprising one layer of N-type, two layers of P-type and one layer of N-type silicon, hence they are called four-layer devices. The T835T-6I thyristor is a temperature-limited, pulse gate-triggerable, 3-terminal, bi-directional triac device that is easy to use, making it a great choice for both professional and consumer applications.
