Application Field

Working Principle
The T850H-6G has three terminals, two on the bottom of the body (mainly called main terminals or main gate) and one on the top (called the auxiliary terminal or gate). The main and auxiliary terminals act in conjunction with each other, allowing for control and modulation of the output. The power flow is in the reverse direction, which means that when the control signal is applied to the gate terminal, it can turn the device ON and allow the current to flow in the opposite direction. When the control signal is removed, the gate is OFF and the current stops flowing.
The two main terminals are designed to be AC-isolated, which means that the T850H-6G can be used in systems with AC power. The use of this device in AC systems also provides the benefit of self-protection features, as it is designed not to be damaged when exposed to over-currents or other dangerous conditions.
The T850H-6G can also be used in DC applications, allowing for the control and modulation of the power flow. To use this device in a DC circuit, it needs to be connected in either a “normally closed” or “normally open” configuration.
